I was one of the first intake when this school was built and this must be almost 60 years ago - eeek where have the years gone???

I joined Broadgate 52 years ago and would love to see photos of then and now. It would also be nice to know what happened to my classmates and teachers. I joined Friends United a few weeks ago and was pleased to become a member of the Broadgate Lane school on there. Lovely to see the few photos on there. However Friends reunited seem to have disappeared which is such a pity. Anyone who vaguely remembers me are welcome to make contact

This year has been the best year ever I'm really going to miss everyone but I'm mostly going to miss, Miss Rocklawski also Mrs Mcleelen lat but not lest my best friend Isobel, Lizzy, Leah P, Amy A, Kyra and lots more. I'm really going to miss you all

My oh my, I went to Broadgate around 8 years ago, back when Alan Tootil was the headteacher, I think it'd be amazing to go back and look around. They had so many school improvements lined up but I never got to see them "in action". Ahh, but I'll never forget that school :')

For anyone who attended circa 1984-1990, Mr Scholes the legend. Thankyou for teaching me to love sport, to play sport and to compete. A teacher that every young man should have, mores the pitty his way of teaching and discapline is no more. Sure he was 14 ft tall and 20 stone(think the 20 stone part might be true)
And quick mention to mr Massey, sorry my spelling did nt get better but it was nt down to your lack of skill and effort (great teacher) (great school)
ps. can you put some pictures of the play ground up as it was basically a building site the entire time i was there, would be nice to see it without the cordan tape everywhere

I lef this school in 1988 when I moved out of the area. Best primary school ever! Just looking at the photos brings back many fantastic memories - place hardly seems to have changed over the years. Mr Swain was the head when I was there and he was lovely. Also remember very well Mrs Barton, Mrs Snowdon and Miss Lawson. Thanks for the great education x

my teatchers name is Miss Roclawski and she is the best one i have had. i love all my lessons and my mum is the cook of the school!!!!!She is the only one who can cook the best food ever!!!!!!!!!! if you want a great school then come here the new Head Mistress is very good. I love my new teacher shes the best est ever but i miss mrs pollard and mr tootil so much but things like that happen but you have to move on..........

Broadgate school is the best school ever I wish more children come because they will enjoy it is very fun we have lovely Teachers and a new headmistress she is very nice.

this is a fantastic school i attended here and both of my children are there now i always tell people with small children to send their children here. i will be sad when both of my children leave.the one thing i always wanted for my children was to be taught by mrs alderson and so far one has she is brilliant and she will make a brilliant deputy head good luck mr tootil and mrs pollard thankyou for everything you have done for my children.

i love this school so much i am really sad to leave but happy because i will meet loads of new friends i will really miss all the teachers and staff but especially Mr Tootil Mrs Pollard Mrs Alderson and loads more thankyou Mrs Alderson for helping me ive really got good at maths now i just wont to say a big THANKYOU to all teachers and staff going to miss u all thankyou

this school is the best school in the whole world because some of the teachers are nice and the trips are the best and if you have children that are small bring them here

my time at broadgate has been wonderful and i recommend this school to every parent. I am now in year 6 and i will be leaving this year (booooo!). i only started in year 5 and have made lots of friends from years 1-6. I have one big thank you to give and that is for drumroll please........Mrs.Scholes for giving all the best help i could ever wish for in the world. She gave me a voice to speak with.

Had a fantastic time here, miss the teachers and everyone there even though i'm in year ten i still remember all the great times from being there. Thanks for being a really great school

Hello im in class 6 and a house captain(green).Broadgate is the best they helped me through the ups and downs. This year its my time to leave and in going to miss this school so much. I was realy untofortable when I went into year 6 and mrs aldeson is helping me all the way though it .I just wanted to say a big thanks to all the staff and teachers .Thankyou.

I've just left Broadgate but I am missing it already. Seeing the website has really made me remember what a fab experience its been. It was really funny seeing my picture in the Gallery. I don't think I'll every forget this excelent school and I recommend to any parent to bring their child to this school because I know their experience will be as great as mine. =]

My time at Broadgate has been the best. Thanks to all the staff and teachers for giving me such a good start in my education. I shall miss everyone very much and I hope that other pupils have a good a time as I have had.

Myself and my sister Zoe have just had a chat about how much we loved primary school and seeing the website brought back brilliant memories. Were really glad to hear that Mr Tootil is still there, although he is remebered as tootie frooty! Glad to see how well the school is doing.

I have just come across your excellent school website. I attended from 1967 - 1972 when Mr Bramald was the Headmaster. Seeing the photos on the gallery page brought so many happy memories back. Thank you.

I just wanted to say that Broadgate is a wonderful school, my son started in Nursery a few years ago, where, lets just say he had a few problems with his confidence and speech. Now, thanks to all the amazing staff at Broadgate, he is a happy, confident, contended child who delights in going to school each day. I doubt he would have had the same support at any other school, so thank you Broadgate, we have a lot to thank you for.
