21 Feb 2008 - Annual Health Fair on 27 February 2008

Dear Parent,

We are pleased to announce that next Wednesday the 27th February we are holding our "Annual Health Fair" in the main hall of the K.S.2 building. There will be many different stalls supported by lots of different agencies, including Health, School Nurses, Fire, Police, Esporta, Children's Centre and School. The day will be timetabled so that every child in school will have the opportunity to visit the fair and spend some time learning about different aspects of health. We will be including: physical, social and emotional health and there will be a "hands on" lunchbox station and a treat for everyone with fruit kebabs in a chocolate fountain (yes it's true, chocolate is good for you - in moderation of course!). Parents will be most welcome to join us anytime between 9am and 3pm. However, we would like to invite parents of Reception and Year One children to attend at 9am because we are focussing on a transitional project with children from these two classes and they will attend the fair together.

We appreciate your attendance at the fair as the aim of the day is to raise health awareness and to allow you as parents the opportunity to discuss the issues with your children after the event.
